Just relaxing...We spent a week enjoying nature and cosy villages nearby. The cottage is also a great place to be. Our dachshund could play carefree in the garden and he also let himself go on the playing field. In short, we had a very pleasant holiday.
We enjoyed a week at gite La Grange from the hospitable owners John and Mirian. The gite is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. For chilly evenings, there is a wood-burning stove (wood is provided). The target group is guests with dachshunds, but you are also welcome without dogs. Each gite has its own little garden with barbecue. And there is a large communal garden. There is a Carrefour nearby for groceries and hot rolls for breakfast can be ordered from Mirian. The area is very quiet and suitable for walking in the countryside. With the car you can make excursions to nice villages and beautiful castles. In short, highly recommended.
We spent 2 wonderful weeks of holidays here with our 3 dachshunds. We felt right at home, John and Mirian are so warm hosts! The dogs enjoyed the safe garden and the nice playing field. The walking path through the forest was also very interesting. In the forest was a mud pool of wild boar and the golden oriole sang its song. The cottages are complete and cosy. During the day they stay nice and cool inside, so we could sometimes go together to a market or brocante in the area. In the rural area with its many lacs, there is much to discover. Also used the road bike for nice rides. The Tour de France '23 passed by in Montluçon. We will go back again! Highly recommended!
What a great place for owner and doggie! Peace, space, neat and clean gite/ flat equipped with lots! Lovely to feel so welcome with your dachshund, there are playing fields for your pet. In addition, there is much to see in the area, you can walk or tour for hours, something for everyone! We would love to come back!
We were guests of john and mirian , owners of les petits chiens .It was a great experience to stay with them in the beautiful gite . This is surrounded by a beautiful garden , playground for the dogs and a great view over the countryside. Also in the gites of John and Mirian you will lack nothing, a fully equipped kitchen, lovely bed, TV, beautiful bathroom and a cozy wood stove for the chilly evenings.S, morning made use of the bread service, perfect.Also the environment is nice, we have in a restaurant nearby eaten delicious, visited art town with a market, very cozy.in short, very worth this place with these lovely people and dogs to visit. How much I enjoyed this lovely gîte with my dachshunds Boefje and Sytske. Tastefully decorated, fully equipped. Because of the warm yellow theme, every day started sunny , fresh cup of coffee and baked rolls from Mirian. We were allowed to be the first guests in la Grange. The hospitable welcome was top! Highly recommended to all owners with their dachshunds!Mirian, John, Baerke, Puk and Charlie....we will be back!
